Each month, Talbot’s Fox brings you news and reviews from the world of professional photography but the centrepiece of each programme is an in-depth interview with an established photographer, a rising star or a photo industry leader. We delve into the many complex issues which surround the profession, in fields as diverse as photojournalism, fashion and landscape stock photography.
We interview image makes from around the globe and ask about their work, philosophy and personal approach to the changing medium of photography.
We also talk to leading critics, commentators and industry luminaries in such specialised areas as stock distribution, the new face of magazine photography or the world of gallery representation.

Talbot’s Fox is not a forum for technical discussion. We are not concerned with f-stops and what brand of tripod is best. Technical subjects are well covered elsewhere on the web. Here we talk about the image, in its cultural, professional and emotional context.
Talbot’s Fox has been created and is edited by Ralph Talmont, a photographer with some twenty-five years’ practice in editorial and commercial photography as well as a depth of experience in book publishing and multimedia. It is produced by Barkfire Media.
